Not just in seeing Obama win the presidency, but also in listening to the commentators talking about Obama's speech. And the important time this really has become in American history.
I thought the speech itself was very appropriate for the occasion, not too showy or "in your face, Republicans" (sort of way that it would've been to most Americans had McCain won, I think) but Obama talked more like a humble guy. But a humble guy with a big vision. And I enjoyed watching these reporters kind of dissect his speech. (particularly the 'We will defeat you" line).
I think we got the better man for the office. Thank God for that!
