Thought I'd come in, air it out and dust a little bit, maybe toss the empty bottles and chip bags .... 1. The petition has over 16,000 signatures now. That's gotta count for something! 2. I've heard a rumor that has been discounted by both HBO and Daniel Knauf, but is persistant enough to be hopeful: HBO may at some time in the future call for a 2 or 4 hour wrap up show of Carnivle. Start writin', children! 3. Another rumor is that Daniel Knauf has confirmed that Jonesy survived his gunshot wound. 4. Carnivle has a wiki entry: en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Carnivale

Infinity Honcho Posts: 10468 06/10/06 11:00 PM	As much as I enjoy him as an actor, I was sort of sorry to see Clancy Brown showing up as a character on Lost recently, thinking that he might have an ongoing role on this very hot, very cancel-free series. But fortunately, he was killed off quickly. I only say that because it keeps my hopes alive that they'll still be able to reassemble this cast, if Carnivale is ever brought back. I can't think of any other actor from Carnivale who has gotten a gig on a successful show, so that is encouraging. Of course, I'm sure these out of work actors don't appreciate that type of thinking.

Who knows, maybe they have a "Carnivle clause" in their contracts that would allow them to go do that instead of whatever they are working on. I've seen some of them on other shows. Considering that I don't watch much more than an hour a night of TV, some of them must be working. Cynthia Ettenger, Tim DeKay, Clea Duvall and ...oh, rats can't think of her real name - played Lila - on CSI at various times. What got me about the women, on Carnivle Rita Sue and Lila were more than just "overweight women." On CSI and whatever else I saw them on, they were both wimpy characters with weight problems. There's a message there, but I'm not sure what it is.
